Caloric needs, portion sizes, and textures differ significantly between a 4-year-old and a 10-year-old. LKT accounts for every difference.

RICHS Little Kids Tiffin is nutritionist-designed, age-specific, and FSSAI certified — unlike typical school canteen food which is usually standardised for all ages. Each age group (3–5, 6–9, 10–12) gets different caloric targets, portion sizes, and ingredient choices. No maida, no refined sugar, no artificial colours, no packaged food of any kind.
Yes. We accommodate common dietary restrictions including nut allergies, gluten sensitivity, and Jain food requirements with advance notice. Before enrollment, share any allergy information with our team — we flag it at the kitchen and ensure the child's tiffin is prepared separately. All meals are 100% vegetarian with no cross-contamination from non-vegetarian ingredients.
Delivery is to the school premises — typically the school reception or tiffin distribution point. Each tiffin box is labelled with the child's name and class. Distribution to classrooms is coordinated with the school's own staff during the school's lunch break. We deliver to the school gate by the agreed time (7:30 AM for breakfast, 12:00 PM for lunch).
You can mark absence through the RICHS app or by WhatsApp at +91 88550 61800 before 8:30 AM. No tiffin is sent on absence days and the meal is not deducted from your wallet. For planned absences (holidays, school trips), you can pause in advance from the parent app.
We track finish rates per school — empty vs returned tiffin boxes. Schools partnered with us get a monthly nutrition and finish-rate report. If a child consistently leaves food, the school coordinator flags it and we can adjust portion size, cuisine style, or spice level for that child's tiffin. This feedback loop is unique to the LKT programme.
Yes. RICHS operates from a single FSSAI-licensed central kitchen in Ravet, Pune (Licence No. 11524019000270). All LKT tiffins are cooked, packed, and dispatched from this facility every morning. No sub-contracted kitchens. No cloud kitchen. One controlled facility for consistent quality.
